Aero addicts.. [bikes]

Dont you just love thin sharp tubes with some depth cutting through the wind, hearing the wind swerving through the frame as you swerve on by the lane. here are some frames selling on the bay that i would say 'modern' (im not a big fan myself) but truely are something special - and also at a 'special' price, that is.

a nice mass-produced 54cm Fuji track frame including the 'hidden' headset. Deadly colourway. 11 hours left, bidding for a hundred-and-eighty-five quid.

and if you really get the Fuji, you might want this 49cm Corima for the missus. selling at two-thousand-dowars.. c'mon man, it has always got to be expensive if its for the missus.
Both look so innocent yet so eager.. they're in the need of some velo speed, so give it to them quick!

Vintage Mopeds are back 'in'?

check out the hipsters in NYC with their new 'toys'. This might become a hype and struck the world like what fixed gear has done.... Nonetheless, I assume you wouldnt be able to do tricks on it. It just looks ssooooo cool!

this Puch has more expensive technology than the one im building...

It has only 'just' begun. So a definite search of nice cheap vintage ones will be good while your at it. But, what I dont like about it is that you would still need a registration plate for it. And in UK, registration plates means paying taxes, parking tickets, congestion charge, yada yada involving lots of monies!

but what is best about it is really, its got handlebars! ride on, mopedists...

Velodrome was good. [stuff]

Took off to the Herne Hill Velodrome track this morning and the ride there was nice.. nice up hills, and nice down hills.

A: home. B: Herne Hill Velodrome Track. Didn't took too long to get there, but a lot of climbing up and kicking back on downhills so that was the warm up really. Once there, took picZ:

what a beauty.. 30degrees rise

Went through the basic induction section which was most needed for my first time riding on track,,, YES, it was my very first time riding my track frame, on an actual velodrome track! went through a bit of briefing.. and then those who aint got track bikes with down handlebar and no brakes cant go in, so friend had to borrow one while mine went swiftly through.. Take me to the bikes!

There were like about 8 containers full of track bikes including a workshop in one of em.. Most of the vintage frames that i saw were Harry Perrys and Harry Os.. the modern ones were mostly Fuji, Kona and loads more! I just wanted take one and act like its mine.. hehehehe but how am I supposed to take 2 track bikes from south east back home???

and then the track..

if youre asking for pictures on the track then i think you might be asking for too much.. But in conclusion the ride was fantastic! not doing anything else but pedal!

then, we unintendedly crashed into and went to see Banksy's Please Love me exhibition @ Covent Garden:

Flushing with your foot is NOT a good idea.. I wonder if you could skid on that? do tricks maybe? no? no.

Welcome Home! [stuff]

So, this morning before I went to bed, I stumbled upon a blog which has a link to a forum that I have been loooong searchin:
Sepedaku.com

Sepedaku.com (which in English means MyBike.com) is a forum that specifically concentrates in the cycling communities in Indonesia. And there is no doubt that Fixed Gear has had make their successful entry into the country. Here's some of the fixed bikes gathered from the site:

these are a couple of many bikes i found on the forum. Obviously there's a lack of pretty much everything over there, still not able to get hands on the proper authentic fixed gear stuff.. and when Im saying stuff that aint authentic.. They actually put up a thread to discuss about ways to drill hubs and make it fixed gear.. keepin it real, brovaz!!

Fire on Bethnal Green Rd!

I was chillin at my friend's place, playing xbox 360 on a 42" HD TV screen (FUCK YEAH! but too bad it wasnt PS3) .. then suddenly i smell meat burning. I thought it was normal, man, its summer and the best thing to do is just have a barbeque out in the sun and have an ice cold beer in your hand.. spilling all that excess tomato sauce all over your shirt while youre giving it a go on the hotdog.., and that gulping that beer of joy...

But then more smoke came out, the sky just on bethnal green rd was literally dark grey!! So I went out.. then took picZ:
