Any vacancies?

Nothing lasts forever. Well maybe the pyramids, but bikes dont!. 2 days ago my crankset had gone lazy in pedalling. It went stuck so I had to carry it from Kings Cross back home in Bethnal green. Come to think abt it, that's another thing with cycling. When u think ur a cyclist, you would rather cycle than be on foot. Innit? The day after, I took it to fourteen bikes and Andy London Fixed Gear was behind the counter. He took over the servicing of the bike, and i took time looking around brick lane boutiques and indie music stores. Seriously, it felt the same as seeing a celebrity which u usually see on screen.

Came back and bike was running like before, was excited before he told me the bad news of my bike. I had to rebuild the front and back wheel because the spokes are loose, the front hub's bearing is knackered as fuck, headset is worn out so it keeps coming loose, and bottom bracket is not dependable even though its a Campagnolo Centaur BB and just bought a couple of months ago. Im glad I just bought a set of Chris King 2nut headset so the headset will be replaced. I also ordered a set of new velocity wheels on stock hubs from US which I will use as the front wheel of my bike, and my mate's taking the rear (haha!?). So, I might need a campy record BB maybe? ooh, cant resist in using high end quality brands.

Took the Chris King headset that night and took my bike to Brick Lane Bikes to get the headset replaced. The first thing the guy said when I asked him I wanted to fit a Chris King headset on my Ammaco, they were like "the headset cost more than the frame" or "the headset would last longer than the frame" - I agreed. I did bought the headset for £60 and the whole bike worthy only £50. So now im in search for a new frame. I have been for a couple of weeks.. looking for something like a Colnago Lo Pro, or Masi, or De Rosa,, i think more towards the Italian names. BUT, the budget is more or less £500. NEED TO WORK AND SAVE UP SOME MONEY. any vacancies?

So at the moment, my bike is in BLB's hands being fitted a new headset, and the rear wheel being rebuild. All cost £35. I was quite surprised wheel rebuild cost £15. I thought it'd be somewhere around £30-40, cause comparing it to headset fitting which is £15, wheel building is way WAY more frustrating. Yep, only have built a wheel which is not even the best, and failed about 15 times on it. So to me, £15 is worth it for a rebuilt wheel.

Stuff I need to get done:
• Headset - check
• rebuild rear wheel - check
• rebuild front wheel - awaiting new deep v's
• get a better bottom bracket
• MOST IMPORTANTLY, get a better frame - not even close to 'not checked'!!

and hopefully it'll turn out to be like this:
