Bomb-proof B43 [bikes]

Velocity makers in Australia got pissed at the Bali bombing years ago. So, here they are, back again with defense of steel, The B43 Velocity. Well, only a sample has made its appearance here in London, but its May now, so, i'm sure more are on their way. HEADS UP.

these pictures were taken from the official Velocity Wheels website.

Went to Brick Lane Bikes to have a first glimpse of how the B43 actually looks like, and the orange pair was there. The people up in BLB said it was the heaviest rims out on the market, but looking at the Velocity website, it said there that these rims were made exclusively for tricky fixed gear riders and with the web cross inside the rim, it makes these babies bomb-proof! sometimes quality is also worth the weight.

Unlike fellow competitor H Plus Sons. They do have a pretty sleek designs with theyre deep designed rims. But sadly, it seems they had a bit of reputation loss as it only stands for bikers who are only into the looks of their bikes.

Yep, some tricked- up Japanese fixed gear riders in spread the rims out wide, and as you can see, it has an empty inside,

in this case, no web cross to add strength to the rim. But if youre only to enjoy cruising on your bike or looking for some light and elegant-looking rim, these are your rims. PS theyre quite expensive, too!
